PPF is best installed in a temperature range between 65 and 75 degrees F. If it’s too cold, it may feel stiffer. If it’s too hot, it’ll stretch more.
If it’s a small finger, the easiest way to push it down is to use your tack solution and then push it down with your squeegee. If it still persists, wrap your squeegee with microfiber and squeegee it down. The microfiber will absorb the water, making it tackier.
If it is larger than a nickel, you want to lift the PPF and squeegee it down again. If it’s smaller than a nickel, it should dissipate and evaporate within time.
Yes, everything you need is provided in the kits. All you’ll need to add is water to the slip and tack bottles.

PPF is easier to adjust since it is a wet install compared to vinyl which is a dry install. If you do make a mistake, reach out to us, and we can send you a replacement at cost.

I’ve been using Tesbros products since my first Tesla in 2020. Just installed the Door Sill protection PPF and it’s a must have for the protection and looks great too. Easy install and high quality film.
Matte finish door sill protectors all you have to do is contact customer service and request matte finish PPS same cost no up charge I actually end up receiving the gloss finish PPF even though I emailed customer service after placing order but customer service was quick and efficient to address the issue and they send me out a matte finish PPF for my door sill Kaaris and guess what else they didn’t just send me one said they sent me two sets of matte finish PPS just in case if I mess up two thumbs up for TESBROS
Easy to install and will definitely protect the sill but I do not like the gloss finish so I recommend getting a matte finish PPF all you have to do is request customer service and they can produce one in matt finish for you for the same price
I went ahead and installed the door sill protector even though I immediately realized this is not the area I scuff getting in and out of the car. I scuff the door sill area below it, perhaps because I am only 5‘2“? I have a photo following a recent road trip, I’d like to share if I can locate the option to upload a photo. It’s actually laughable seeing how clean the protector is and how dirty and scuffed the area below it is. My only solution at this point is to mentally remind myself to lift my feet because I clearly don’t even realize I’m doing this damage until after it has occurred and I don’t see a similar product for the lower area.
